shoutout black mirror! been my favorite show ever for over a decade now probably. my bandmates and a few other musician friends would all hang out at my best friends small studio in our town and one night he asked us if we'd watched black mirror. this was during the 3-4 year period where they had stopped making it for good before ppl discovered it on netflix and netflix bought it to get it going again bc of how much ppl loved the few available seasons at the time. we sat and watched ep 1 "the entire history of you" and that was it. i was sold. i still rank that single episode as my favorite piece of television media i've ever seen. the actor in that episode was INCREDIBLE. no other show or movie has ever destroyed me and left me w/ that lingering... something before or since. then he showed us s2 ep1 "be right back" and i was like "how the F**K have i never seen this?! my son turned 14 in september and he asked me for some suggestions for something to binge while he was out of school over christmas break and i thought "he's old enough for black mirror finally!!!". we sat and watched the same 2 episodes together and it was probably top 10 moments with my kid watching his mind just blow apart and love it as much as i do. he was seeing all the little nuances that make it so brilliant. nothing in the world like sharing and experiencing art that is impactful to you, w/ your kid, and them getting it and loving it too.

just so this post is on topic tho. here's a image i made (prompted) in midjourney aound maybe march-ish 2022. always thought it was an interesting take by the ai. it's bob ross walking through a doorway into a lanscape in the style of his art.



this is one, from around the same time, that i just always found striking and felt rose above the standard "ultra slick high res blah blah blah" that ai art has become kindof memed into now. the composition and use of colors feels very masterful to me. very strange to say..

been using chat gpt, so dall-e. i was gonna try to be productive now i just type in dumb prompts. pretty impressive how capable it is at interpreting things.

there are no restrictions on what you can prompt. or at least not that i'm aware of.

Thanks macros mk2.. I've been having problems logging in to ChatGPT.. I constantly get a Google error 400 dunno why? - I've also tried DALL-E and Craiyon AI to make artworks.. This is only the beginning of the AI era, and soon we'll see entire movies generated by AI.

Hello there fellas, would anyone with an account on an AI generator (and with some expertise) mind generating an image that is a combination of two images? This option is not available in most free generators, I believe...

If anyone knows of one with this feature, please let me know!
