The morphing of not just characters but entire individual pieces of the background and far background is impressive.

I imagine someone with Epilepsy should definitely NOT watch any of these - said with kindness and caution.

 

With the correct prompt, this video will be easy peasy for a well trained Ai.

I also do prefer offline models (illustrious etc) using forge (over comfyUI) myself because there is flexibility and its free. I only use Midjouney and Kling because their models do certain things really well.

This type of visual generative model (that was used to drive the hype) is better used as rough concept development, b roll or bland marketing art, these models are not a threat to my normal game development job where i use photoshop and unity.

'AI' tech shows real promise when its not the central solution. Weta and teams like that are using their own trained models to solve things like water interaction systems. I think these 'under the bonnet' use cases are the practical legacy of this 'AI'.

And you dont need giant data centres for these. I cant wait for big AI to fail.

This is a smoother modern version of the AI morphing effect. The dev surfaced this last year and went quiet so i dont know if its still a live project, but very cool effect.
