What version of FLStudio are you using ?

    Is it cracked ?

Don't you know how to "Export split WAV tracks" in FLStudio ?

Im using FLStudio v10.0.9C and I dont see corrupt project files ever.

The truth is FLStudio is great just need to know how to use it like any others , ALOT of pros use FLStudio re-wired :)

I still use FL9 because I like it more then the 10 version. I thought I know how to avoid problems in FL, I mean I use it for nearly 2 years now. this problem with many wav-stems is new to me... Maybe I will google a bit, but I only worked with so many WAV Stems because I wait for my new PC. When it will arrive I wont need to do that anymore...

I always recommend newer version because of bug fixes and all that goodness etc...

Why do you prefer v9 over v10 ?

One thing I can comment on personally in my setup is that when I load full track wav stems into FLStudio , the playlist goes a little glitchy when first "scrolling" up and down and around the tracks , but once ive viewed them all everything seems fine.

the development for FLStudio still seems to be going alright , so im sticking with it. I also learn something new each day on it , its one of those programs that doesn't reveal its true potential until you dig into it :)

    Hey Someone.

Well if anything it looks as though you received alot of support here and thats always good. I haven't really anything to offer you that everybody else here hasn't already, except the fact that I admire the way you express yourself when your pissed. Ha! Sometimes in certain situations the very best thing is to just let out a gigantic expletive filled tirade. Some well placed, SHITs and FFFUUUCCCKKKKs can be the very best medicine and you seem to have a very good grasp on that. Kudos and good luck brother!

That's quite a sticky situation you had to deal with. Hopefully you learned some kind of lesson because of this, if not, you'll be in this situation again. I'm a believer of having a very strong and capable machine. Because its one thing to have an endless creative mind, but its another thing if the machine you have can't keep up with it. My advice would be to stick with FL for producing and adopt a different DAW for mixing, thats just me though. We live and we learn, peace.

You're totally missing my point. Even though it is much more comfortable. YOU DON'T NEED IT.
On the sound design side, apart from fairly basic stuff, most of my stuffs take 25 to 50% of the CPU power, solo'd. Some tracks have their own project.
Would I do better with a better computer? No. Might be "easier" as in a bit faster (plugins loading time, export time (right these kill me)), easier as in more comfortable (freezing at the 10th track instead of the 3rd). But at my level this is irrelevant.
You can blame being late at work for having an engine problem. You can't blame it on having an old low end car instead of a Audi. That was my point.

Hm sorry but I have a different opinion... Its nice when you are able to work with just a few programs. But I know I will do better with a better computer... Different people do different things, and I think there is no better way to make music, there are just many good ways. Everybody needs to find his/her own way. Of course you can improve your skills to be able to use less programs or something, and its nice when somebody is able to work with limited options, but there is a point for many where and upgrade is needed. I think you can look at DJs, my friend is one. Many of them can do good with a simple battle-mixer, but they can do better with one of that big hardware pieces. Not a long time ago a DJ said to my friend you should work with what you got as long as you cant get better, than its time to upgrade... I think this works in many work-fields, also music production. There is the time for many of us were we realize we need better monitors for a better mixing, or mayne an audio interface to improve quality. And Im at the point where I cant get better with my momentary PC, my limited options just hinder me from being happy to make music. And thats the reason why I dont try to adjust me to my PC, I go on to make new stuff possible for me, to improve my skills without getting hindered and to make music stress-free with fun and without anger, agressions and depressions...
Thats how I think about it... Respect to everybody who makes good stuff with (much more) limited options

Why couldn't FLStudio be used for stems? Just put them in the playlist and send each one to a mixer channel, or in combos. Why doesn't that satisfy "working with stems"?

Thats not the problem... Problem is that FL wont open the file again because it is corrupted...

Today my new PC components arrived, they only needed nearly 2 weeks to deliver it

Tomorrow I will make a backup of my system, attach the new hardware, reset my system and hopefully wont freak out...

Then I'll buy a pair of Mackie HR824...

And then I will start making music again :dancing:

    You see, i told you!!!

There is a big chance though that your system will freak out.

you need to use tools like Paragon Drive Copy, or Acronis System Migrate. don't leave it to a chance!

UPD: okay i might be wrong with the names, but both these companies have tools to migrate system from one workstation to another. go to their web-sites and find it.
