Advice on orchestral mixing (audio files and current mix included)

    Aren't Spitfire libraries recorded in a studio? In the end they aren't more authentic than the other choices, if you are after symhonic hall sound... They are OK, but you still need another complementary library for chords to avoid the "organ" sound that C7 gets in his mock-ups.
    I think that the old East West orchestra is the only one recorded in a concert hall, but the programming is outdated in terms of legato transitions and probably articulations and some of the instruments are weirdly eq-ed.
