Yeah, I personally won't stand for people tossing noise at Copylefter/HEXWARS etc.

I miss him, as a person, and for his mind and his work, and he was a great guy who I got to know pretty well and consider a friend.

He carried a lot of water for macOS people and gave a lot.

Wherever he is now, I hope he is enjoying it, and life in general.

 

I remember two things about Hexwars/Copylefter. His attitude and his R2R connection. He never let us forget about either one.

 

He was like the nicest guy ever man.

 

I was meaning that even if you upload ”your” stuff, make dll and follow their rules, they make their own links anyway. At least from my experience. Why would i want to upload something i bought if they take the few cents i would maybe earn in downloads ?
maybe i did something wrong, but if i would share anything i do it on other sites, tho i really appreciate their stuff and work, since its only a few who seems to get their own links published i guess they get something out of it.

You wouldn't, and neither would anyone else. That is the #1 reason why you should know that no-one is stealing uploads and stats. They have more than enough stuff to upload themselves; that they do not need to hijack someone else's releases/uploads. You should chalk it up to your own misunderstanding and let it go.
