posted that he doesn't like to use JDownloader because it runs on Java.
I have been using JDownloader 2 for 1 year now.
I understand that the Java environment can be a security weakness.
I looked in JDownloader Help / About : and I see
Java - Temurin - OpenJDK Runtime Environment - 1.8.0_322(32bit/x86)
JDownloader 2 2.34.0 Build 15
So it is using Java script. Is this safe?
Does JDownloader 2 update the OpenJDK automatically or do I need to do it ?
Would I be safer using " Internet Download Manager " ?
I don't subscribe to any premium accounts. I plan on doing some big downloads in the near future, so I am seriously considering purchasing a premium account.
Back in 2018 SAiNT (Admin for AudioZ) was posting about "LinkSnappy".
So I would like to get a feel for what ya all think is the best file hoster to get premium account for? I will list my priorities in the file hoster I seek.
#1. Reliability (Down Time)
#2. Download Speed
#3. Daily / Time / Data Limits
#4. Price
In a nut shell I'm looking for a file hoster that is reliable, has good download speeds, has minimal cap limits on downloading. Price is at the bottom. I don't mind paying a little extra for a good FFS. The ability to download via torrent would be a bonus also.
What if I choose a file host that AudioZ stops using after I purchased a premium account ?
Which is the most likely file host that AudioZ will be staying with ?
If that scenario happened, is there an alternative site to AudioZ
that would hopefully have links for the file hoster I had a premium account for?

Java is safe. Who said it is not safe?! It is way safer than the native software you run like the DAW or random VSTs you grab.

It is not the best programming language in 2023, but it has nothing to do with its security.

 

Me too 3rd year with RG and never experienced any problems with maximum speed always . Had UL before which was also great but now RG is the King and Nitroflare which i have no experience .
