Anyone remember a script (if im saying it right) that, when typed, "addkontakt" in terminal in OSX, will create a .nicnt and associated containers for a third party library? I recently upgraded to Sierra and it's not functioning. I presume it got overwritten.

I'm looking for this too. I used to have it years ago deleted it and need it. I've ransacked the web and haven't found it yet. I tried that Kontakted app to create libraries but it just crashes Kontakt 5 after creating a library so I deleted that app. That addkontakt tool worked very well.

 

I haven't heard about it. But you can try to create a script in Automator that - when you drag and drop the library's folder onto the script's icon - it could create a nicnt file but you still have to define the SNPID code by your own.
I just don't think it's a good idea adding every instrument as a library when it's not requested by Kontakt to load the patch.
