Hello.

I need some help.
I have Bob Dule's version of Kontakt, but there is no add button for Libraries?
So my question is how do I add libraries to Kontakt?

from Kontakt it use the regular way of native access with a menu more.


you can also run it without Kontakt from here.
C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt\Data\Add Library.exe
or
C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt\Kontakt_Button.exe

a first previous version used the external patcher to run this menu. and kontakt only launch native access, as the original behavior of Kontakt. in every case you can add libraries.

 

Thanks Bob! But there is no such button. I must have the previous version. I didn't realize I could use the patch file for this purpose, I tried it and it seems to work. Thanks a lot!

 

I have a problem - Studio One ver 6.6 - Kontakt 7 - All was fine and then I used the NI Key Adder - It went through its process and now when I load Kontakt 7 into Studio One it crashes. Not every time but almost every time - I dont know where to get help with this so I am posting here hoping someone is listening thank you - R

So. For some reason everytime i try to open the Library Tool for K 7.3 it tells me: Kontakt requires Native Access ect..
And i don't even HAVE the Tool plus there is no Native Instruments folder in C:\Program File or C:\Program File(x86).
And i can't load any library but i guess this is because the libraries are not added to Kontakt.

Soooo...
Does anyone have an idea? :D i would appreciate it^^

Yeah i don't know where you told me or someone else a millionth time this, but even if so, i still don't know what you tried to say.
I'm looking since a week now and can't still find any anwser.

 

the "Launch library tool" command point to this:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\ALSupport]
"ExecutablePath"="C:\\Program Files\\Native Instruments\\Kontakt 7\\Kontakt_Button.exe"

if missing or broken, this alert occur.
maybe you use a stupid AV who deleted it.

 

Its been a while since I installed kontakt but from memory -

1. Install bob's excellent warez
2. Put all your kontakt libraries in a folder somewhere
3. Run the add library tool(C:\Program Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt\Data\Add Library.exe). Select the folder with your libraries and done.

If you're missing that "add library.exe," try redownloading the warez with av disabled.

Hi Bob, nice to connect with you...I just downloaded your Kontakt 7...I used the Kontakt button to add a library...it added...but the library won't work...the instrument GUI doesn't seem right, it won't display the keyboard for example...and it produces no sound....the library is good cause I've used it in another version of Kontakt...
Also - I don not have the Native Access.exe file - apparently this is necessary - how do I get it?
Sorry if these are dumb questions, I just can't figure this out myself, and haven't been able to find the answers online.

it need a least the service center folder, generally done by native access installer.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center\NativeAccess.xml
updating the NativeAccess.xml at the opening.

Bob - How do I get Native Access? I installed your patched Kontakt 7, but i'm also missing Native Access.

You don't need to login or create an account. Just install it. That's all.

 

Native Access wants me to enter a login, should i just create one to get in, or am i missing something?
Do i need to block the NI ip address or anything?

It doesn't work in Kontakt anymore. Check the install directory, there should be a Kontakt Button.exe or Patcher.exe or so after install.

 

Like he said. Also I think there's a nativeaccess.xml in the last Bobdule's Kontakt versions.
