Hello,

i have setup and install addictive keys 1.5.4.2 according the readme file.. and everything went well.

But, if i start AK as standalone I just get a black (blank) screen and no GUI opens up. If i start it through cubase or so, it works alright.

i have also reinstalled the app and "replaced" the library. Its always the same.

Its annoying to start cubase just to use this plugin so my question, have you also experienced such an "issue"?

I see.. so.. i just copy library, start library placer.. and thats it or? should i do this prior to the sw installation or after?

You have to put LibraryPlacer in the Library Folder and then start.

 

If you think this is "annoying", wait until you try out 11+ milliseconds of Latency while playing your keyboard.

i did all this.. have put the .exe file within the library folder (as on a screenshot) and it gets registered... but still... i can not open the AK as standalone..

 

And not. i do not think this is annoying.. at any circumstances

1.Burn or mount the ISO.
Copy Library folder to local disk.
Run the *_Library_Placer.exe in the library folder.
2.Install the software.
3.Run our keygen.
Click "Get" to get Computer ID.
Click "Register (WIN)" to register.

Hmm... i did that.. everything you've said... and yes.. the plugin opened on DAW.. so i have closed it and now i can not open neither on DAW nor standalone

 

Did you reboot? It's not the instructions but I'd try it anyway.

Click "Get" to get Computer ID.
Click "Register (WIN)" to register.

In some rare case, ComputerID will not be acquired correctly.
(XLN uses WMI to get info from CPU/HDD/MotherBoard.

XLN put some code to generate another code when it has an error in WMI.)
If you have problem, you can manually get ComputerID from the log files.
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\(ProductName) Logs\
Find the ComputerID from log and input to the keygen, then click "Register".

[MacOSX]
0.Uninstall previous versions.
1.Burn or mount the ISO.
Copy Library folder to :
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/
2.Install the software.
3.Run and close the software.
Log file will be created in : (Caution, it's USER dir!)
~/Library/Logs/(ProductName) Logs/
Open latest log file and find ComputerID.
4.Run our keygen on Windows.
Input ComputerID you found from the log file.
Click "Generate (OSX)", save the license.
Locate the generated license (LicensesOI.txt) to :
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/
5.Enjoy!

deleted all regedit entries for addictive keys..

reg the library

install sw

keyben

opened cubase...

nothing.. crash

 

Hi @Stef01, can you test it in another DAW?
Or can you call up the standalone?
Windows or MacOS?

1.Burn or mount the ISO.
Copy Library folder to local disk.

2.Install the software.
3.Run our keygen.
Click "Get" to get Computer ID.
Click "Register (WIN)" to register.

yes... i have tried also as standalone... but no luck... the audio setup works.. i can change from asio to windows driver.. but i dont see any AK gui...

and on cubase.. crash

 

Most of the time there is trouble if you do not follow the order of the installation instructions.

1.)
Please " Uninstall and Delete":
C:\ProgramData\XLN Audio (Hidden Folder)
C:\YourName\Documents\XLN Online Installer
C:\Users\YourName\Documents\XLN Online Installer

Restart the PC
