Just remixed this song from the last springtime, I wasn t happy with the sound, now a bit better.
Still need 3-4 more automations on vocals volume... Give me your feedback, please.

Mixed all into the box, as the tutorial :

    https://audiosex.pro/threads/all-kind-of-rock-mix-and-master-tutorial.22958/

Logic, RME, Toontrack, Stylus RMX, a kit of kicks snares and toms I made for EXS24, UAD, TC Electronic, and... Uh?!
Guitars and bass aren t quantized.
Vocals are processed with Melodyne, just some tuning.

Me on rhythm guit, vocals, drums and percs programming, mix master, arrangements
    My friends on bass, guitars

    UPDATE

I've given the track one more day of mix. here's the updated version:

I like the song, but don`t like how it is mixed.

There is a to big contrast between the guitars and the rest... (guitars are to wide in relation to the rest / or the rest is to narrow in relation to the guitars :) )
The drums are "popping" too much ?!?
The vocal is somehow muddy (I think it is related to the singer, not the mixing part)
When You start the solo, the drop in volume of the other instruments is too obvious

(just a subjective opinion on my first listening)

    All correct I must admit

I mean you busted the very last changes: I ve opened more the guitars with a Waves S1, added a limiter after the drums compressor. The very last changes.
The singer is... Me. I ve also encreased the main vox lows, around 280 Hz + 5 DB I guess
What do you mean muddy Vox? The vocal thymbr? If so... There s nothing I can do lol

Thanx a lot for the comment!!! Tomorrow I will work on the track, fresh ears

No problem, but before going back to the mix desk, better wait for some professional advice here on site... I am a player and songwriter, not a mix engineer

    ps.
Yes, I meant the vocal timbre (sorry  )

    Here
First off, very cool song, nice axe work, definitely had me & Mr. Beam jammin'!

Now I'm also far from a mix engineer (unless it's a beam & coke).....but will throw my 2 cents into the mix! :hahaha:
Aside from agreeing with Rhodes observations:

The guitars sound a bit too hot IMO, may be stepping on vocals making them seem "muddy" or unclear, it's like the vocals need to be brought forward in mix.
Picked up on some momentary spikes of biting freqs throughout song, almost irritating at volume. Mostly occurs on guitar leads & a couple on vocals. Take a listen at these times for examples of what I'm saying & see if you hear it.
    1:45 Vocals Take your time
    0:27 Lead guitar(s)
    2:41 Lead guitar(s)
    3:01 Lead guitar(s)

    Cheers

It sounds like a recording of live pub performance. When recorded properly it'll sound good. The singer, YOU, need something original in the voice to turn heads. At the moment the vocal style sounds very mediocre.

thanx guys I havent finished eith that song, for sure. 1 day for mix and master. and yesterday I was pretty tired at the end. I will take a look at my S1 on the guitar bus, and pan.
the vocals are maybe a bit into the mix, they were higher... I ll give em a couple of DB
Thankful I m grateful for the ... total destruction you offered L@L I am planning some aesthetic surgery to re find the confidence and trust in my voice ahahahah ok ok... I appreciate both comments, indeed.
