I really appreciate the lower threshold finaly implemented. Was getting tired of adding a gain fx before the comp.

I'm cursing at my ultra low speed internet right now.

 

So, to update. It uses the already existing GOLD.SER so there was no need for me to go through creating the AUT file, uploading, waiting for the SER file game. Which was nice.
I transferred the entire contents of the Steinburg/VSTPlugins directory from my work PC to the plugin directory of my audio workbeast, and got it working. No muss or fuss.
Still have to play with it some. I used an instance of it on a guitar track I was reamping last night just to make sure it worked, and it's working great like the original already did. I love the H073 for guitar tracks. I wish there were more frequencies in the lo-pass and hi-pass adjustments though. That 560hz is a perfect fix for warming up guitar tracks recorded with an SM-57.

i like the new eq they added ("8077"), it's different from the others, so a nice addition, but it's very good. The low shelf is impressive.

The threshold of the comp goes so low now....
I don't notice a huge difference in the cpu usage next to gold 1 despite the core upgrade, it's still a pretty demanding tool, good thing you have that new setup @digitaldragon
