Anybody got Ash working? It'll open up, but it won't load the libraries (can't change the mode setting) and then it hangs when I try to close it. I tried with Taupe, Salt, and Gold too and they work just fine.

Has anyone found a way to use these R2R'd alongside legit ones? Just removing them from the plugin folders would be enough to safely open Aquarius for any future updates? Tbh I'm considering selling most based on the crappy protection scheme and the greedy attitude of AA owner.

Nope. Direct files. I've installed every R2R Acustica release at this point, and Ash, Ash Ultra and Fire the Ash are the only ones that don't work. This is VST3. I'll try VST2 and see.

EDIT: I notice this was to another member. My bad.

EDIT: Still doesn't work with VST2

EDIT: Figured it out boys... Appears Acustica is scared shitless of R2R and rolled out an update on what they seem to feel is their holy grail product, in hopes to do some sort of damage control... Rollback to the previous update through Aquarius and the crack works.

also tried ash with vst2 and it doesn't work..
how can i rollback through aquarius?

 

Delete old cracked version, re-install the vanilla update, go to "Updates" at the top of Aquarius. Find your plugin, underneath the word "Update" you'll find a dropdown menu. Click the date before November 22 (that's the day the crack released on the sister site). Click downgrade. Now when it's finished, install the crack as normal.

All went fine for me... just ash plugin and ash ultra don't work.. they open and freeze my Ableton ... have you any ideas ? someone make them work?

I noticed that some Chinese crackers have produced the latest cracked installation packages for Mac, and at the same time, some of the people spreading them are already making money from these installation packages. I found no relevant information from our forum. So is it the Chinese crackers are already ahead in updating installation packages for mac??

Really strange only Magic Flow works here on my mac the rest still shows blank GUI say unable to load vst-2 plugin file in logic.

 

So, weird thing for me - after editing the component and other files in a temp desktop folder, I am unable to drag them back into my components folder as I get a 'this component needs to be downloaded' error message - very weird. Anyone else seen this?

 

Can you load any other VST2 plugins in Logic by using BlueCat's Patchwork? I can't. If you do not use a wrapper, Logic cannot load ANY vst format plugins. It is usually just AU apple's Audio Unit format only.

They are maybe "ahead" in making some custom installers for them.

This is described in one of the Mac release instruction files. It's why they recommended using an Acustica named folder on your Desktop, and it said it could cause some type of permissions issue. It was just a very short mention of it, check the instructions file again. It explains how to codesign them.
