What about AU for Logic pro or this trick is work only for vst and vst3?

 

You could use BlueCat Patchwork as suggested by @Stevie Dude for the plugins that do not have 48K available. You can then set them to 96K for 2x oversampling. And it would load as .vst3 either way then, with Patchwork as wrapper.

 

Hi I would like to know how to find if this is working in macos. Already did with spacecontrol so want to know if it's working. And I tried R2R Ash and there's a .vst folder with files similar to macos vst3 files

 

The method for getting it working is explained on page 1.

To check if it's working, just load up your DAW and see if it works?

Anyone got a solution for SAND 3 ? When i download VST3 it just downloads VST 3 folders instead of bundles and it cant be seen by Cubase.

AU version is working on mac too, the unique step further is to modify the xml.
Erasing "T" to fit the name of the actual files, and like in R2R version erase the line
<AUTPATH> $CODEPATH/**********.AUT </AUTPATH>

After that is easy to create a macos pack version just with the AU extra files to the common folder of the R2R windows release

Just figured out all the steps! Have currently tested GAINTATION 2 and works fine for me!

Here are the specific steps in case some of you want to know.

0) Install Frameworks, just need to download a plugin from Aquarius Desktop, then will automation install to your mac.

0a) For virtual machine: We can get the framework install pack in /Users/***YOUR USERNAME***/Acustica/Aquarius/Stagearea/FRAMEWORK/NEBULAFRAMEWORK

just need to copy it to your mac then unpack it. copy it to /Library/Frameworks/.

Maybe you need to restart your mac to make it work

----------------------Audio Units----------------------

1) Download the plugins from Aquarius.
****Just download the trial version for AU x64.

2) Create a new temporary folder on the desktop (this is necessary, otherwise we will not have permission to modify the plug-in name).

3) Copy ExampleT x64.component, ExampleT x64.ENG, ExampleT X64.XML to your newly created folder

4) Delete all the Example plugin files you just downloaded in the Components folder, we need to use the R2R files to install it!
****These files usually include: ExampleT x64.component, ExampleT x64.ENG, ExampleT X64.XML, ExampleT.N2S, ExampleT.aqu, ExampleT.AUT, and a folder named ExampleT.

5) Go to the files we just copied, change the names of all files, and delete T'.
****For example, ExampleT x64.component, ExampleT x64.ENG, ExampleT X64.XML changes to Example x64.component, Example x64.ENG, Example X64.XML

6) Right-click the ExampleT.component file and click Show Package Contents, You can see the Info.plist file in the Contents folder. Open it you will see the text ExampleT x64 again and the text Acustica: ExampleT x64. Delete the T here. Then find <AUTPATH> $CODEPATH/ExampleT.AUT </AUTPATH> and delete it save the file.
****It is recommended to use Xcode or Sublime Text to open the Info.plist file

7) At this time we go to the Resources folder and modify the NUW x64.rsrc file, You will find that multiple ExampleT x64 contents appear again. You only need to delete the text T to save the file.
****To change NUW x64.file, I use 0XED app opened it. 0XED it's free app for macOS.

8) Use the terminal to re-sign the components and copy all modified files to the components folder.

9) Download the R2R Windows version of the Example plugin, unzip it, open the !COMMON folder, and copy all the files inside to the components folder.

----------------------VST3----------------------

1) Download the plugins from Aquarius.
****Just download the trial version for VST3 x64.

2) Create a new temporary folder on the desktop (this is necessary, otherwise we will not have permission to modify the plug-in name).

3) Copy ExampleT.vst3 to your newly created folder

I did the same as you, plugins are starting but show message “need authorization” and buttons don’t work. Did you install “Aquarius” on the both systems? I just coppied folders “Acustica” from lybrary/application support; Users/user/Acustica; Lybrary/Framework/nebula.framework. I tried to delete some .AUT files from these folders, and delete folders with “trial” name but it didn’t help. Maybe you just have a trial 30 days version and it will stop working after this period? Can you please help and tell everyone what exactly did you do? Step by step, like 1. 2. 3. Would be very grateful to you

 

Wow!) Thank you so much for the info! How can I 8) re-sign components? What command should I write or what do I have to do?)

 

Open your terminal and copy this command

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign -

You need to enter a space for it and then drag your component file into it. It allows multiple component files to be dragged in at the same time.

Please use NUW x64 of Resources folder. NOT NUW x64 of MacOS folder
