    HI guys,

Got little problem with AA plugs on Nuendo13/Cubase13
The most AA plugs works fine (framework lazy mode) but with some AA plugs my DAW have a little problem and I dont know why and how to fix it. I'm using VST2....

Open the plugin manager and look for the rescan option, hope that helps.

Pretty sure VST2 aren’t supported since v12, so that is why there is a VST3 wrapper used.

** oops, got it wrong, sorry!

VST2 can be used in 13, it's not dropped yet
Some really old may need bridging, ie. jBridge

Three times (almost) the same answer, two minutes apart. So it must be true. :)

They all work fine for me in Cubase 13, Studio One 6.5, and Ableton 11, though I'm using the VST3 versions. I used to get Cubase putting some random VST2 plugin in blocklist sometimes though, mainly some PSP ones for some reason. My initial troubleshooting steps would be:

Can you re-copy the plugins to make sure all files are copied over?

Does Acustica rely on them being in some pescriptive or default location? I know UAD stuff doesn't work if put in some locations or symlinked. Maybe trying them in default location to see if they work?

Is using the VST3 versions an option for you? Even just to test to see if VST3 is scanned and works fine.

I have the VST2 folder of the AA plugins symlinked from C:/program files/steinberg/vstplugins to another harddrive and they are recognized by Cubase 13.

So maybe it's the problem with the plugins not being in the default location.

He could try and symlink the folder, maybe that helps.
    :dunno:

When DAW scan plugins, those plugins "scan" their OWN files.
So if the profiles are not installed right, plugins will crash.
    DAW don't scan "plugins only".

You need to check with another DAW : if they crash too, your install is wrong (files are not at the right place)
