    Olymoon can u delete this thread i wasnt trying to make it look like Acoustic Samples is a bad company i was just saying its not user friendly like other companies ....i dont wont this thread to make people feel like they don't need to buy they products just because my friends had a bad experience

    I am a GOOD customer of his, and I seriously doubt that you've been on the receiving end of some of his email and posts on other sites. He has NO finesse when dealing with customers. It is well known that he doesn't give a damn about his customers.....and his site reflects as such. Example: I made the fatal mistake of emailing him about updating the site blog, so I could see if there were any improvements on my purchases. After a month, I received a short email, "I am not updating blog. Don't send questions to me." You can be his bleeding heart....not me. I still buy his products, but have no intention to ever email him again.

    its crazy how people dont know @westfinch i was just trying to be a good person and look out for the people because last time i check people that buy products dont like to be treated like shit or ignored and most people like my friends dont even read they just go on the site and purchase the products and thinking they can get a refund not knowing there is no refund if u like they product or not u stuck with it no matter how much u paid for it .....that was my point of creating this thread not to say Acoustic Samples is a bad company they are not user friendly and its the truth it aint like im lying about it but people taking it the wrong way i own some of they products and i love the quality of they shit but i still will say that they are not a user friendly site when it comes to emails and question they are not i will let people see for they self but like i said i dont wont people to think they products are not good i just want people to know when it come to customer service they might have a bad experience like my friends and if they do at least they want be surprise because i just told them in this thread just trying to look out for everybody thats all

    So, @Atlantis84 how many plugin/sample/expansions companies and developers do you know allow "RETURN" or you can "get a refund" on digital sales? With or without a demo? I don't know any. So, maybe we should start listing them :yes:

    Many soundware enterprises don't give refund, because of the nature of the material itself. How would they know you don't keep it after refound?
    As for demo, you have the YouTube videos.
    2 consumers are not representative of all their clients.

    Has anybody reading this have any experience in asking the developer technical support questions regarding the usage/handling or having issues with a bought product? How did he respond then?

    Because this would be the only valid measurement of how good his customer service is. Asking him to update his blog is not. Asking him for a refund is not. Not for that type of content he sells.

    And not getting a demo of every product he sells is also no valid point. Go on the website and see he has some free stuff showing the quality of his work, so you CAN get an impression of what you can expect. If that isn't enough, check the youtube presentations. Fair enough, i'd say.

    No reason to have such a judging thread.

    I have communicated with many developers, most are very cordial, timely, and helpful. And, I do not bombard them with endless questions.

    No free stuff. The many times I've been mislead by you tube has driven me to only products with a demo.

    Yes, we did, but the blog was removed from our website sometimes in 2014 or 2015. Since we are a small company, there was often a year between posts because there was nothing to post... We usually release one product a year or so.

    We do offer a small pack of instruments called the AS free pack, you can find it from the product list.

    I don't know what the discussion we had was (i'd be curious to find the email exchange) and many of our customers seem to be happy with our customer support. It seems like it was a long time ago, some things might have changed since. Also, i apologise it i was rude, i'm not saying it was the case, but depending on the situation and when it happened, we all have our "not so happy" moments where we might overreact.
    I don't think this deserves praising the piracy of all my products don't you think?

    Anyway, i'm not going to post here anymore, i should not have, even in the other thread, you can't make everyone happy and nothing i can say can change anyones mind.

    Acousticsamples and Westfinch i appreciate both of your honesty im not taking no sides within this matter but i can tell u this Acousticsamples i love your products keep up the good work .....i dont care what other people think of the quality of your products its good too me thats all that matters and thats why i will continue to buy your products ....and thank u for saying and admitting that u do have your ''not so happy'' moments ....and Westfinch thank you for speaking up about what does happen and i think myself for addressing the situation but one thing i can say that im sorry about is me saying that your stuff needs to be pirated i was wrong for that AcousticSamples ........and i think im done with this thread just wanted to speak my peace and my truth

    Arno..if that is really you....you know there were several people quite perturbed with you on another site, you claimed as your official "thread". If things have changed since then, it would make myself, and others, a lot more comfortable, knowing you are there for us, and not brushing us aside as before.
    I do in-depth reviews on a few sites, and I know for a fact that at one site, dozens of new customers picked up B5 and VTines after my recommendations. They, in turn, gave me positive thanks for leading them to your site. I give them pointers on how to get the best out your products and have provided them with many wanted presets, which were(unknowing to you) debuted at your site last year. You may now figure out who I am, which is fine, but understand, your customers are going elsewhere for answers because of the past. IMHO, that is not a good company model.
    I wish you luck, and I will take back my remarks above. I do tell your customers the truth, and will continue to do so. The ball is in your court.

    I was not aware of this, but I haven't visited your site in a few months.

    I said nothing of the piracy. This thread was about AS Customer Service.

    If anything....this thread should be a wake up call for Arno. His products that I own are very good. After many complaints about B5, he did update the Leslie that sounds great, and the next update was even better. To Arno's favor, these updates were free.
