Acou6tics vir2 strummer Very unreal

It sounds strumming its very unreal, no something professional, that think you?

I think it sounds quite passable for a sampled guitar. Maybe lacking some body and proper string striking timing on the attacks but I don't how much better it could be.

 

All strumming lib sounds unreal to me the only way you can get real strumming is if you have loops played by a human

 

All strumming libraries sounds unreal when played in solo but in the mix with other instruments, it's quite acceptable!

Isn't the key to getting the most out of these libraries to know how to program the midi for it?
If they have separate notes for downstroke, upstroke, mutes down, etc.. put you're constantly using the same one, yeah it sounds unreal.
If you don't alter the velocity of the notes, it sounds very unreal .

I don't ever used vir2, but my experience from Trilian and RealLPC / RealStrat is that the programming is an art form in itself.

GD-6 acoustic guitar The sound sounds turned off, and the rasgueado sounds unreal,

 

I didn't like very much the sound of Acou6tics' acoustic guitar but nylon is very good.

 

The reception to Acou6tics has been very positive here. I haven't personally tried it yet but I trust when our advanced members say they like something. Can't imagine it being that bad.

Don't get me wrong i didn't mean it is bad yeah i liked it, but i think as acoustic guitar (i mean sound) there are better libraries than Acou6tics.

 

i also dont like vir2 acou6tics , i tried it and it also seems very unrealistic to me , ok maybe i cant use it properly and maybe it needs extensive programming.
i requested gd-6 guitar a long time ago on audioz, on youtube under description says that ''the iLok dongle is no longer required.''
so maybe we can have uvi workstation ! catalyst can we somehow re-request it ?

as i see now 119euros for gd6 is not very expensive
but i also have no money :P

You definitely need to understand how a real guitarist strums and use the strum keys to get realistic strums.
