Would anyone be kind enough to help with R2R'S keygen please. Cannot register with anything the keygen gives. I have no security on and can't work out why the app doesn't register.

it has been mentioned to download official installer from old versions section of their website. then generate auth.

on there it is 1.8.1. I have no idea why, because I am on mac and do not use them. I would definitely try it, because that is as easy as it gets.

Avira Security antivirus gave me a hard time with this keygen last year, but I managed eventually to make it work on Win 10 pro. this keygen will (try to) put R2RACON.dll in (hidden) folder: username/appdata/local/temp/R2RACON.dll : this will be needed in order to register the restoration suite. my (active) antivirus at the time really didn't like this and messed it up. tried again (after deleting, reboot etc.) with antivirus disabled and that worked (for me anyway).
be sure there isn't any antivirus active when using this keygen! if you're on win 11 I don't know if it will work (microsoft you know ;) ...)...
after succesful registration I deleted R2RACON.dll just to be sure, and the program still funcions.

I looked for that file. It doesn't appear anywhere. That's in Win 11 Pro. Strange. I'd like this suite but it's way overpriced.

just leave it (R2RACON.dll)... if it did work, the suite/VST-plugins should be working and you don't need it any more.
keygen just needs this file at time of registration.
if you ran keygen correctly and registration didn't work, probably Win 11 (or any other security-mechanism) is blocking the process... (lots of people with problems using Win 11).
hope you can sort it out, the plugins are really good

 

It doesn't work. No matter what I try. Even tried in safe mode. R2RACON.dll is in appdata but still the authorise remains blank.

 

This. Acoustica will give you the option to install the audio editor (which is excellent) + all the vst versions of the modules. Never had any issues with r2r versions on win 10.

 

Installing Acoustica 7.5.5 worked. Genius. Can't thank you enough.

 

How does this suite of restoration tools compare with the Izotope RX10 stuff? IMO, RX10 blows away everything I have tried in the past including wave arts, waves restoration, forensic tools, etc... Using RX10 pretty much all the time now...

 

I've read an awful lot of peoples opinions on this suite, who swear it's better than RX10. Opinions always differ though and one persons nectar is anothers poison. It's a matter of preference I suppose. I think it's great, that's why I am so grateful for being able to try things before I make an informed choice.

 

IZotope comparable versions are in the range of 2x the price of Acon. RX is beyond what many people need and/or want to pay for.
I never really see anyone say Acon are better than iZotope. Easier I would understand, but I do not know how they could quantify the results of a cleanup job to draw a comparison.
