The TI2 is still one of my faves after all these years in spite of no updates. I would love it if it returned to TI .... Total Integration, but it is what it is... a digital era legend.

 

That is not quite correct; the Virus TI, for example, has 8 ROM banks (ROM 1–8), and each ROM bank contains 128 presets.

Especially with a Windows PC: VirusControl recognizes patches saved as standard MIDI files (Format 0) in the folder mentioned below: C:\...\My Documents\Access Music\Virus TI\Patches If you have multiple sound banks, you can store them in different subfolders—VirusControl will recognize them as well.

Vurus C from the Manual:
The VIRUS features up to 1,024 memory slots for single sounds, organized into eight banks. The first two banks (A and B) are located in RAM and can therefore be overwritten with new sounds, while the other two banks are permanently stored in Flash ROM. If your VIRUS does not display banks E–H, you must load the file “second1024.mid” into the Virus (see “1024 Sounds Update” on page 163).
