    Hey everyone,

I wanna do a live bootleg.
So I'm looking for the acapella of Massive Attack's Unfinished Sympathy.

    Where can I find it?

    Many thanks in advance!

I have other multitrack stems of their's but not that one! I don't reckon it's out there either.
My friend was the drummer with them for a while, so I'm pretty sure.
You'd do worse than to have a play with Accusonus Regroover to extract the vocal, or Spleeter which is a bit better for vocal separation.

Massive Attack never released the official acappella track, but you can find parts of it (cover) in this interesting video:
    (min 31:50 and 36:09)

You can try extract the acappella from original song using spleeter algorithm: I use this site https://ezstems.com/ (sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt…)

    Other Massive Attack acappellas here:

I'm going to have to give this a try soon, need to find a nice clean vocal track. This track is beautiful and can't be ruined by some overly processed vocals

I've just run this through DeepRemix and the results are better than anything else I have tried. With a bit of cleaning up, I think it might be worth using for samples

The recent Virtual Dj update made a big improvement on stems separation, it creates a .vdjstems file which is essentially an mp4 file containing the multitrack parts. WIth Reaper there is a script made by user leafac that automatically does the FFMPEG stuff to extract the multitrack to single tracks such as the vocal, the bass and the other parts. Especially for the vocal part, it's impressive. You can also use Audacity to open that mp4 file as long ffmpeg is present in the system.
