About Some Strings library

    AudioSexers, the Skull needs your help!

    A few days ago, i was trying to search some strings library which has a similar sounding than the strings in this song( near 0:52)



    (Yeah, the guy is obviously faking but just keep focusing on the goddamn song.)

    I tried myself some libraries like Kirk Hunter & such but none of them has this "timbre" i'm looking for.


    Any suggestions?

    I was thinking more abour "Real-Live" strings but why not?

    I agree - they do sound kind of Mellotron like.

    If you want real strings check out EastWest's stuff.

    It sounds like a Solina ('70s strings/horns synth by ARP). Most virtual emulations that you'll find are pretty good, but Arturia's is best, in my opinion.

    Yes, it´s a String Ensemble not a Tron. And I hear it passed through a subtle rhythmic gate. No real sample strings sound like that.

    I don't think so. If you really pay close hearing, you can hear vibrato.

    This is exactly the type of strings i'm looking for, in fact.

    Especially some library with vibrato strings if they are some amongst all of those you mentioned.

    I actually thought abour having several libraries but i didn't really think about it the way you putted it.

    Rammstein actually did hire an ensemble so i was just wondering. You just can't be too sure.
