Could you elaborate more on that? What is it that makes this art form so special and interesting to you? The chord progressions? The beats? The sounds? The poetry and message of the lyrics? The videos? The feeling that you get? What is it...

He never said that it is special or particularly interesting. He said it should be discussed on the level of artistry, not just ridiculing it. On a side note, show me any music from the past 15 years that was new, i mean really NEW and not just a re-combination of elements that have been used before.

i think it got started when somebody's lab got hit by other players, and the resulting blood from the shootings got mixed in the final product giving a nice pink tint. The nice thing about backstreet labs, is you never know what you'll get or the purity (if any).

Can we change the direction of this thread and maybe take another unconventional artist. His mashup use flag royalties copyright owner acapella and he add his touch to the sauce. I was very impressed when in this documentary he said about music that "There Is No Wrong Way To Do It"...
Do you guys like his philosophy and attitude?
Personally he helpme a lot with my self-own-estimation and motivation even if now he is under radar it stay authentic.

There are very few artists that seem like they should be laughed out of the room as pretentious jokes and yet seem to be legitimate- I get them- David Lynch is one, Bjork is another.

 

thats just very bad theater with bad storys so the ..... audience gets impression these dj actually doing something you need skill and taste for....
watch the behavoiur of this so called djs closely ....compare it with 'real' djs...

She should not have won Best Dance / Electronic Album, should have been Four Tet. If she had produced her album, then maybe, but actually no. It shouldnt have even been in the category. Album of the Year, yes, but Dance / Electronic, nah.

Best Dance Pop Recording, yah sure, not much competition there. Madison Beer, lmao, i would have died if she won.

Best Recording Package is a hilarious category, but yeah, she def should have won. I mean, not her, but whoever the artist are. Its an obvious win, there was no chance for anybody else in the category. Nothing else was memed to oblivion like the Brat green.
