That's wrong. There are resellers like G2A selling codes you can use in Apples app store to "redeem gift card or code":

Don't know if they are shady or part of edu bundles or can only be activated on one machine. I'd rather buy it officially from the app store for 80 Euros more. The main price for Logic Pro is the price of the Apple computer you buy to use it.

By the way, latest Logic 11.1 needs Sonoma, and AI features need Apple silicon. So in fact the updates of Logic Pro are priced in in new Apple hardware.

You can try to sell it, but be aware that Apple suggests to register all five codes to the same Apple ID, to the person that got the educational bundle.

So if you have registered Final Cut to your ID and sell the Logic code to someone else, I don't know if it will be accepted in the App Store. But you can tell us if it worked.

I really don't know, but usually reselling parts of discounted educational bundles is not allowed.

1) Sell both
2) Demo full versions of Ableton and Logic Pro for as long as you want and in your own time
3) Why stop there? Download and try as many other DAW as your heart desires.
4) Pick one that you have chosen yourself, rather than allowing yourself to be swayed by us!
5) Make your purchase knowing you've chosen the very best for YOU!

 

I would sell ableton since they force you to pay for updates it's years behind logic pro 11 and also doesnt care about their users

This is so true I’ve gotten more mileage out of fl studio than Ableton piss on paid for upgrades

 

They dont force you to do anything, you can choose to update or not, and they still support older versions, updating for OS changes etc. I also wouldnt say its years behind logic. I own and use both, and they both have their ups and downs.
