Hello, i'd like to send midi from ableton live 9 to Logic pro X.
I saw a tutorial but it's for logic pro 9, i don't find the correspondant options in the X.
I have created a IAC ports 'to logic' but i don't know how to connect the port in Logic.
Does somebody know how to do it please?

You might need to reinstall Ableton Live, that seemed to work for some other people.

 

you shouldn't have to use IAC ports with a rewire app. rewire supports audio and midi.

1. open lpx
2. open ableton live 64 bit (32 bit wont work; its a separate download)
3. in lpx create a external midi track
4. display the library if it's not already displayed
5. Select Ableton Live>1-MIDI (or whatever your midi track in ableton is named).
6. Create as many tracks as you need in lpx and associate them with ableton in the same way. you'll need to make sure you have enough midi tracks created in ableton.
7. in the lpx mixer create an aux track.
8. set the aux track input to Ableton Live>RW Mix L/R
9. create as many tracks as you need and associate them ableton in the same way

 

Ableton rewiring into Logic? Seems rather unintuitive to me for some reason

Your technic works perfectly but this is for use logic as sequencer. i'd like to use ableton for sequence some sounds of logic that i like. Is that possible?
It made me disapear my VST and AU list in Ableton...

you can try jackosx, because the rewire option will not work the other way around,
