    ableton live is better than bitwig in the moment
    on bitwig :
    1.you have not groove templates
    2.more effects like grain delay etc.
    3.better midi effects like chords etc
    ..
    ...
    ..

    nope ableton is in the middle of the version cycle. im sure they will go until 9.4.0 like last time with v8.

    they do these sales once in while without any plan.

    ive been using both ableton and bitwig for the past few months, the more I use bitwig the more limitations I come across. I know it will improve but for me, reverb, delay, compression, eq, distortion are not as good or nice sounding as abletons, and it has no editable fades as far as I know. its nice looking but it has a way to go before it gets to ableton level.

    I think because of bitwig , they kick ableton live 10 out -- this year im sure
    not version 9.4

    the release live 9.2 and than 2 weeks later they kick out

    they are on 9.2b11 (no new beta since 7 days now) so i guess this will take a while. dont think they will release v10 this year, its to fast for the ableton folks. :rofl:

    Lol, assuming you're from the states I have to point out: since back then, winning wars hasn't exactly been your strong point - despite blowing the middle east to shreds and alienating half of the world by dropping bombs on them.

    So maybe we can dump this idiotic topic and get back to the subject:
    there was a timespan of four years between live 8 and live 9. So, being just around live's second birthday, I'll assume there will be no live 10 for years.

    They have these sales every once in a while, like ArticStorm already pointed out.
