    Hi Live User,

i have installed Ableton Live 9 both Versions, x86 and x64. My VST-Setup is complete but I am wondering about the Factory Library. Do I have to create two Library Paths, for each version one and import the Packs twice?

Or am I able to use one Factory Library Path for both versions? If so, how to install the packs to appear in both?

    Best Regards
    Kabel

You can use the same Library for both versions, just install the packs in one of them, and then in the other change the library path to the same folder in preferences -> library

problem is, you can open 2 instances of Ableton 9 and access the Library.
it was possible in v8. the 2nd instance cant open the index-file and that way, the library isnt shown there.
thats a bit poor - i know and already suggested that they should change it.

maybe change the write permission for ableton - so that both instances have equal rights to read, modify, write in the index-file.
