Ableton Live 12 beta expired

    r2r beta or suite? i want to keep using beta for performance reasons.

    install final version, no need to keep using the beta.

    there is no performance increase in the beta. beta can be very unstable and even have serious bugs compared to the final version.

    Also projects, saved with the beta, could never be opened again in serious cases.

    If anyone NEEDS to continue running beta for fear or projects not opening in the newest Live 12 or for whatever reason.
    1. Look up a program called RunAsDate
    2. Start RunAsDate.exe as admin
    3. Browse to your exe for Live12 beta (C:\ProgramData\Ableton\Live 12 Beta\Program)
    4. Set date to any date before 4/1/2024
    5. Create a name for new shortcut next to Create Desktop Shortcut
    6. Click Create Desktop Shortcut
    Launch Live 12 beta using the newly created shortcut and you should be okay.
