Can I resurrect this further to ask if there's a way to activate on MAC without being supplied the patched app file? Can I patch it myself somehow?

Can i have the Ableton_KeyGen.dmg file? beacuse in the pack that i downloaded there is the .exe file. i'm o macbook

 

I tried running the keygen on windows, and then transferred the auth file over to my mac and it said its not authorized for this device.

what else can i do?

 

Use Crossover to run the Keygen. Do it on the same computer you want to authorize.

block the Ableton Live application with your firewall, you'll have to do it anyway for plugins you might install.

Get LuLu to block outbound data, it's free. Unless you already have Little Snitch installed, then just use that to block Ableton.
