Hey guys, I just bought a brand new macbook pro 16. I've never had any macbook pro before.

I have no idea how to fully use a macbook coming from a windows laptop.

I cant figure for the life of me how to authorize Ableton Live 10 and 11 ( cracked version) on my macbook pro.

I am on the version "BigSur"

This is the instructions :

1. Install ableton_live_suite_10.1.35_64.dmg
2. Replace patched to /Applications/Ableton\ Live\ 10\ Suite.app/Contents/MacOS/Live
(Show Package Contents)
3. Code sign
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Ableton\ Live\ 10\ Suite.app
3. Run Ableton Live 10 Suite and choese No internet on this computer to get Your hardware code
4. Chose 4.a or 4.b
4.a. You can use Authorize.auz which You used to active version 10 (same computer)
4.b. You can use Ableton_KeyGen of vesion 10 (Team R2R release for windows) and creat an Authorize.auz with Your hardware code
5. Drag & Drop license to the software
6. Enjoy

The only point that understanble for Macbook newbie like mis is step 1 and 4 because I know how to authorize using the R2R keygen because I was a windows user.

How can I replace the patch? It is not a "file" but more like a text file UniEx format once I open the patched folder.

Whats Code Sign and How Can I use it? I have no idea what it is and how to use "code sign" command.

Edit : I am trying to install Ableton Live 10 Suite v10.1.35 macOs from Sister Website.

 

Just replace the suite.app extension doesn't matter at all. just drag the patch file to the directory
( /Applications/Ableton\ Live\ 10\ Suite.app/Contents/MacOS/Live ) and replace.

Then open terminal from launchpad or applications.paste the codesign code
(sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Applications/Ableton\ Live\ 10\ Suite.app)

and hit enter.enter your password. Hit enter again.

That's it.if live says can't open type chmod +x "drag live app here" (in terminal) and hit enter and reopen live.

Note that you need to generate license on a windows computer and move it to mac.

after opening live on mac,

1.choose offline activation(i don't have internet).
2.Save activation info as txt file with save button.
3.open keygen on windows pc / mac (using crossover).
4.type hardware code you received with txt on the keygen.
5.generate .auz file and drag it into license tab on live preferences.

thanks you guys for explaining, in case someone had problems with this,

the downloaded live file, is the one you want to chmod +x live (then you drag it to the contents folder) that show i got it to work, you can see a black terminal icon with live once that happpens. hope that helps someone.

im struggling with steep 4a. or 4b. how can I create an auz file on my MacBook? I just can't open the .exe file....
any advice is highly appreciated!

 

.exe is for Windows, you can simply run the keygen on a Windows computer and transfer lic to mac or you can use crossover(an app that's used to run Windows applications on mac)to generate lic on mac.

 

I use Wineskin Winery for kg. you create a mycoolwrapper.app and then just drag kg onto it to run. easiest way imo. including crossover.

 

You don't really need the .auz file anymore, since I used the patches or Terminal commands (which is the same), it unlocks Ableton automatically.

(Show Package Contents)exists.
Why are there both / and \ ?

 

new problem: I had to delete the Ableton file and had to download it again (version 11.0.1.). Download and unpacking works fine, but when I try to open Ableton I get the message: "you do not have the required access rights to open the Ableton Live 11 Suite program.Please contact your computer or network administrator".
anyone knows where the mistake is? I deleted everything before I installed again.
