Hi everybody. Since Ableton Live 10 is so very new, i thought to set up a conversation, where everybody could send their problems and found bugs. Maybe it could also be a ressource for the devs of Live so they can improve the program.

I start with a bug i've found. If you try to drag and drop a midi file from XLN-Audio Addictive drums or Linplug's RMV it won't place the MIDI clip where the mousepointer is, but somewhere far right of it. In sessionmode it is annoying, because it creates another track instead of bringing the MIDI-Clip into the chosen track.

Second problem is, that after adding the Live 8 Suite Library folder to PLACES, it finds not all the stuff. In the browser you can't prelisten samples or midiclips. It gives an error saying "missing mediadata". No matter wether in instrument racks or clips etc.

Ableton has the most efficient debug technology in the world ------ the MOUTH with hypes and arguing of many fake users at some sites.(pretty similar with some communism countries, hahahahah)

 

i think the ableton 10 code is actually a mix of new code & old one. ableton is based on granular synthesis... some of the base code can be used again and some of them has to be written new.

this depends on lib dats, new steinberg sdk etc... also for mac is it the same.
i do not think that this is funny... but

3 month were gone with ableton beta testings. why didnt you wrote your buglist to the beta/alpha team?
they gonna be the right guys for any type of ableton buglist.

actually it is normal for software to use the audience for bug fixing since some years.

actually if i had problems placing !!! a midiclip!! without freezing ableton, then i wouldnt update to this version. so why dont you use the ableton 9.xx for working.

try the manual ... start @ the very beginning.....
