Ableton: is there way to auto-replace vst2 with vst3 plugins? -old project missing plugs)

    Thank you for the script. It is working. I have no more missing Melodyne plugin in my projects after updating the versions of the app and VST.
    VST2 v4 is working as VST3 v5 now. :mates:

    PS. Why can't bloody Ableton sort such things themselves??? They make stupid updates with cosmetic changes instead of taking heavy loads. :(

    @PulseWave, I can't open any of my vocal edits done with Melodyne v4 on my new system.

    Once again, as i said earlier, Ableton can't do it because plugin management S*CKS.
    When you use several DAWs, you see Ableton is the WORST plugin management ever.

    In fact, to me, there is NO plugin management on Live.
    You need to check obscure logs files, removes plugins and test to find the culprit ... an horror show.
    And devs don't care for years now.

    The two worst plugins hosts ever are Ableton and FL Studio.
    And yes, i tested them all for decades :wink:
