I'm learning Ableton (Logic user). I can't find a way, or even a tutorial, on how to transpose MIDI clips. I know how to transpose the note data within a clip, but one clip at a time is inadequate for this. I have lots of clips in a MIDI-heavy project.

In Logic, I can simply select the MIDI clips (called Regions in Logic) in the timeline and enter +2 semitones, for example, and it's done. All of the notes within the clips/regions is transposed easily. Is this possible in Ableton?

    Many thanks in advance!

there are some max for live devices that allow this. I dont know the name of them, but just search clip transpose max for live or something along those lines. Otherwise, you can slap a "pitch" from "midi effects" and transpose it that way. one will need to be on each track

There's a midi effect - Pitch. Put it before the intrument. Then Copy and Paste the device to all tracks that need the transposition.

You can select all MIDI clips, open the Midi-Editor and transpose them all at once (deactivate "focus")

Also, command+A to select all, then up/down arrow for semitones or shift+up/down arrow for octaves
More than one way to skin a cat! lol
