What do you mean you don't get the option? The option to change the buffer size is in Ableton Preferences > Audio > Latency > Buffer Size.

Is this lives unprofessional PDC problem.
    (Pugin delay compensation)

Ableton didn't code the sequencer to play in time with itself. Lowering the buffer helped. . But caused other plugin related errors.

Does live 9 not have a plugin buffer size adjustment. Live 8 was set as"'same as.." By default.

How on earth did you get that problem? I've been running Live 9 for a minute and have had no latency issues with the plugins at all. :dunno:

but there are 3.party plugins which has latency, and if you put several on several track it sums up and your music is offbeat.

Add a tempo synced plugin like a square LFO
    or
    record fast automation
add plugin before this on the chain

Audio is compensated midi and automation is not

    2
recording automation with a long pplugin chain
    remove a plug
    automation is off

    3
add ozone 5 mastering etc to master
all automation and synced plugs go out of sync

    :)
