i am aware of this, but i avoid to work with max, right now i only use the LFO device, because ableton is incapable of coding a native one, also for the other devices. :(

i think we moving away from the Live idea, which ableton intended it, i mean lots of epople using it as DAW man.
so i think its still better to separate it for easier working with it.

but still a notator would be awsome to draw in real notes.

Because 10 tracks is not nearly enough for a lot of music styles (if not most). We often need doubling tracks, creating harmonies with many different instruments, creating FX, and so on.

yeah I understand that. Even with cymatics they only use 20 tracks with their project files. I mean, whatever works for everybody works. I find it easier when my workflow is nice and neat with minimal tracks.

@PaulRevere I got to say I'm envious of you. I always seem to start creating more tracks then my computer is capable of when I'm "in the zone". It always just looks like a disorganized mess and I've been working on getting better about keeping things neat as I'm making things not after.

at least somebody agree's with me :[ I just like everything to be clean and less of a hassle. If I have 10 tracks all renamed and have a purpose, your tab view should be easier to manage and compose the song. To each their own though, we all have ways to make things easier.

Forget that DENPAStudio or DENPA studio whatever his name is, the guy made a bunch of Max for Live devices that actually are already build in Live, total wasted his time.
    Check this http://www.maxforlive.com/profile/user/DENPA

And for almost all things he is asking 2 or 3 euro while it is already in Live by default lol.

Glad to help. I just discovered this recently. It'd been on my HDD for a long time from back when I was hoarding everything I could get. When I started deleting things I don't need/want I realized it was super useful. It unfortunately lacks the ability to play legato, but like I hinted at, if you click the MIDI button it toggles to FREE mode, in which you can trigger it by clicking, or -- like I like to do -- right click -> show automation, set to draw mode and just draw a little "on" step everywhere you want it to trigger. I really like this thing.
