Addictive Drums 2 does act funky in PT but it does work. Im sure the groups are all making better efforts for AAX now that Ilok2 is cracked. AD1 is a folder scheme done wrong. Take a look at the folder schemes for other AAX and mimic and then it shows up fine in PT12.

Folder schemes should be the name of the AAX for the main folder. Inside should be a Contents folder and inside that should be a x64 folder and then the AAX plugin should be inside of that.

I have legit pro tools 12.4. Some aax stuff works... for example, Arturia V Collection and Izotope works. They must use different protection than some of the others. For everything else, I use blue cat's patchwork. Of course if I like something, I buy it... like the Slate Digital stuff... can't live without that!

there is, you just need a wrapper, which doesnt care if the vst is patched. patchwork works, as it has been keygened, so the AAX is untoched.

EViD is always late to the party, they were resting on their industry standard reputation, but in the last years other daws really improved a lot and pushing them out.

Patchwork always seems to lag for me. I guess I need to invest more attention and time into that plugin and try to understand it better.

I am particularly bummed about EZdrummer 2 not working natively. It's amazing that the newest toontrack EZkeys (studiogrand) works fine, but EZdrummer 2 is patch only and no AAX. Whats more is you can use EZD2 libraries inside of Superior 2, which makes for a pretty convenient setup, but it won't authorize. I hope in the near future an update comes that allows for native use, if anyone has ever tried to do advanced routing of drums out of BlueCat it's total HELL.

All Softube plugs show up for me in PT12HD...AAX no wrapping. 42 mono plugs listed, 34 stereo plugs listed under Softube in PT insert list. [IMG]
-Install the original 2.2.79 (from official site), and then re-install Audioutopia over it.
When the Softube Plug-Ins Control pops up during install click to add ALL Products, then install AudioUTOPiAs version over it. 32bit AAX doesn't seem to work.
    Win7 64bit here.

Are those TransVst wrapped or you found a way to auth the AAX??? Slate Digital and Eventide in particular! I really don't want to have to wrap since I want to carry PT10HD sessions over to PT12HD, plugins intact.

These are wrapped TransVST. Some them react better in Patchwork though. My list has grown and I'll post a new pic in a little bit.

I had the exact same problem with the Slate VMR and the PA stuff. The only way I could get it to work was to wrap via BC PatchWork.

By the way, could someone explain a little more in detail about how exactly they got the softube AAX stuff ? If i'm understanding correctly you just downloaded the actual installer from the softtube site and then installed AU's version over it? Wasn't AU's version all VST's though? I am confused.
    Thanks!

Yup install official softube, then install AU version, AAX now works. no confusion required.

This trick doesn't work with SSL Duende though so don't bother trying :dunno:

I was installing and testing plugins that showed up in PT12 AU and used and tested alot of plugins on a session (35 tracks). I guess PT12 Au is as good as legit one but I am NOT gonna buy it because PT12 should be a update to pt 10 or 11. I dont like AVID but I love Pro Tools for mixing and mastring, there is no better.

That's not an excuse. What else you don't like? Volkswagen? But love Bentley? then go and steal a Bentley or Bugatti since both are made by subsidiary companies of Volkswagen.

That's Avid products and it does whatever it likes with it, just like any other company and "I don't like it" can't be used as excuse, just like an opinion about fair, unfair updates, don't like the way they handle it, don't buy it, but don't use it as an excuse to steal.
I don't like that apple bought out emagic, but I won't use that as an excuse to use a warez copy of Logic on a mac.

I can't afford it... it's too expensive it just a hobby to me... I'm simply a contemptible prick and won't buy it, if I can get a cracked version... these can be used as an excuses or simply say nothing.

The only thing you deserve is what you buy at that very same moment, how it will look in the future is not up to you, a company does whatever the f**** it wants, it sells you a product here and now, it's not your friend.
How about I come and steal a dell computer form a shop, just because I don't like a dell company, because they should give me a discount, because I'm their regular costumer... but.... but what? I want a discount! I'm their regular costumer, so I don't like them! I love their computers, they are good for computing and playing, there is no better.
That's my prerogative to steal from them now.

I said: I am NOT gonna buy it because PT12 should be a update to pt 10 or 11

You missed the whole point, maybe it was too short what I said.
It means I have legit pro tools since version 9 (bought it) and then PT10 (paid for upgrade) was 32bits and sometimes very slow and sometimes problems...
PT11 was Not good news, 64 bits but was'nt stable at all and new AAX plugins(big headaches).

I was done with Pro Tools and started to test other DAWs.

PT12 came out and I heard it was stable and that was great but ... read this for example from Pro Tools Expert site:
    http://www.pro-tools-expert.com/home-page/2016/1/6/the-story-of-2015-the-development-of-pro-tools-12

But thanks to AudioUtopia I am a Pro Tools user again (Avid lost alot of their customers).
I am NOT gonna buy PT12 but I am gonna buy Pro Tools 13.

But back to your theory about stealing. you steal someone's car and use it few months and when you got caught you say "I can't afford it... it's too expensive it just a hobby to me"?!? (this is what you said)

If you like palying games you should pay for Playstation or whatever you like and I know it's FUN and sometimes a HOBBY.
I am sure so many of us have legit Pro tools and we have paid for software we use you should do that too!
    Me bad you good?
