    Hello!
My name is Michele, this is my frist post in the blog.
Sorry for my english, but i'm sending this message from italy and i don't write english wery well.
I would like to know if is possible who is the bass that starts at 1:33 in this song:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANP_BkWVkLI it's Justin Martin - Don't Go (Dusky Remix)
it's a kind of bass used in the deep house, purposely in garage, it's easy to find this basses in Dusky, Jay Lumen and Justin Martin's tracks.
I would like to know who is the "real synth", and if there is a library, maybe kontakt patch.
    Thank you!!

    Hi Michele,
I had a listen and it's quite a simple bass sound to re-create using a sinewave. Increase envelope on the filter with short delay and sustain settings to give it that short "bite" sound. Then add stereo effect to widen the sound and make it appear bigger.

It reminds me of the sound of my old Roland SH-101 monosynth ...so maybe something like LUSH-101 would do the job (probably already got a preset patch ready to go)
    good luck

EDIT: ooops meant square wave not sine *yes*

hi, i'm not a synth-programming expert, but i'm pretty sure this is a square-bass, not a sine. What i'd try is look for a simple square-bass preset in any synth/vst; give it a short attack, add some
filter modulation and maybe a little detuning using 2 oscillators and/or chorus...et voila :P

here's a nice tutorial for the start: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kt3HRiPQYLk

Just a bit off topic, but how did he manage to join today and only make 1 post? I've posted like 6 times before and I'm still waiting for approval (even this one probably won't get shown yet).

Sorry Michele, I didn't mean to hijack your post but I'm just a bit confused over this signing up process.

Typically Deep Square Bass Sound. A lot of Plug-In Synths have these Sounds ready.
