A simple way for viewing and listening to the samples during the selection inside FL Studio

    Traditional way of doing this is just by clicking on the samples inside the browser window. By doing that, you can listen to them and also view a small waveform showing their corresponding shape.



    The above method is not good for comparing the waveforms. But below procedure is so good. (see the attachment file):

    1- Simply browse to the folder that all of your samples exist in there using windows explorer.

    2- Select and drag all of them to the playlist window inside FL studio.

    3- Select the playback icon from the edge of the playlist window and then click on any sample you want for listening.

    4- After selection you can delete the others you don't want.

    This is so good for viewing the waveforms during the selection.

    Does not work for FLStudio 11 and lower versions.

    Sorry for that.

    As you know selecting for example appropriate drum sounds is always a tedious job. Some times it happens randomly when looking at huge amount of similar named samples. By comparing their waveform during selection, you would act confidently and much smartly. Don't forget to change "Timebase (PPG)" to 960 for having better zoom.

    And also some samples are longer than others so cut their tail for having equal size when listening.
