a nice Audio Player with fine Output Control

    :( Can`t seem to install the pretty theme. I fall at the first when it says "choose Columns UI as your User Interface Module."

    This is NOT even listed as an option. Sad to say, I got distracted and moved onto summut else. :wow:

    If you want to install the Darkone theme, you have to grab the complete theme package from the theme site, not the offical foobar: here, the link is on the upper right.

    Then you have a self-extracting archive which contains the "columns UI".

    ... and I'm using fb these few days, it's over complicated for me :) I need something easier...

    So, I back on my main reason of opening this theme, Winamp is so quiet on my system, don't know why ???

    And now I'm realize and solve this problem. It's stupid Windows 7 :(

    When you play something in winamp and go to Windows Volume Control, Winamp exist as an extra channel in Windows mixer and it's at 14% of total 100% volume ?!??? Why is this ????

    NOTE: in run just type "adjust volume" if volume mixer is hidden in system, like in mine... because I'm using M-audio mixer software.

    I pull up fader and now everythings work fine... great sound again :)

    Do yourself a favour and download the demo or "a demo" of the software I recommended.

    You can set it up to communicate directly with your sound card, thus bypassing all the Windows audio stages.
    You can also assign only audio files to it, so it doesn't play video files.

    foobar was complicated about 5 years ago... these days it's all simple - grab the player, grab a theme.
    you want something more - learn how to do it.

    this is how my foobar looks right now:

    and while i love all the fancy shiny things, i won't change this structure to anything.
