I did not say any rules were broken. I merely point out that I thought it is generally accepted that when someone uses all upppercase text it can be seen as raising their voice or shouting.

I am not being sensitive or nitpicking but i believe I can see how things can be misinterpreted or taken the wrong way when someone writes something in a post. Hence my comment about using uppercase . When i see that, at least to me and maybe others, it seems like you are frustrated and angry at 'newbies'. Maybe you are not but i am guessing some people will read it that way.

There will always be people who search, read the rules, look for answers but there will always be people who just ask questions whether or not they have been answered before. Its just the way it is.

If you enjoy helping people out when they ask for help i say well done to you. But if it comes across that you are "shouting" at people that may be counter productive.....and indeed start a debate causing as you say the goal of the thread to be lost.

May i ask why you choose to title your threads that way?

How can you read and post but not use search?

 

I use a software solution. It's called TextAloud. It doesn't work on spreadsheets, tables and forms, which is why task bars and lists are inaccessible to me. I did have to get someone else to set up my profile on here, that didn't seem to translate either lol.

I am an onsite I.T. specialist and have set up 2 systems for a legally blind client before. I am somewhat familiar with how the text to speech overlay that he used works. So am I correct to assume that when addressing you in posts that they should be as this?

• Complete sentences with proper grammar and punctuation.
• Refrain from using slang and text message type acronyms.
• Use bullet points when possible because the software picks up on these.

If you do not see the flocking of the usual 8-10 members acting like juvenile rude a-holes over and over and over again you are simply lying or have become so used to it that you think it is common behaviour around the world. If you can't see that these people act like they own this place instead of being equal members with everyone else, I feel sorry for you. When this group find something or someone they do not like, they act like a mob to drown the threads with their off topic ad hominem attacks. When they find something they do not like the work like a mob and they act elitist, no matter what your opinion is. You can defend it all you like, but pretendening it does not exist is just lying or being blind to the fact it happends over and over again. You should be able to name them rather easily if you just think a bit about what I actually described.

 

Well, you did agree with the contents of my post except the last sentence. So that is good. Actually what I predicted in the last sentence showed to be true, all you have to do is take a look. The rest of your post does not hold water, it is just a personal attack.
