    Hey there,
i am always fascinated, how fast i get the Sound right in Logic.
I don´t know which Magic happens behind the curtain.

But i cannot produce in Logic. I tried many times.
but now i found the love of my Life: Bitwig 6 --) It´s made for my brain!

Some months ago i found out how to get Bitwig and Logic in Sync via Ableton Sync.
It´s a super dope feature. You can get 2 DAWs in Sync, opened the same time.
I also can use the LiveLoops with my Ableton LaunchPad and can start/stop all Drums.

Now i´m playing my Synth in Loop in Bitwig and i can search and Choose the Samples/Loops in Logic.
    They match and Sync perfect!
Why?!: Because i LOVE the Hardwell Producer Pack for Bandcamp/Logic. Every Sound, Every OneShot is kiiling it. That Kicks, Hats, Toploops, Loops, --) They All fit into my sound.
    But i cannot explain why.

Does Logic tune the Samples to the Key automatically? I have the feeling, there is something happening which makes, that the Apple Loops really fit to the Project, because they´re automatically tuned to the Key of the Project.

I´m slowly developing my workflow into this Direction: To record the Loops from Logic into Bitwig.
i also tried to convert the Apple loops with a program, but they don´t sound the same after Conversion.

Maybe someone can explain, what Magic is happening in Logic :)

    Thank you very much.

Apple Loops? Yes. Make sure to set the Project Key (and ideally BPM) before dragging them into your project. As for just an mp3 or wav sample you drag in? No, it will not automatically be in tune. But as for stretching an external audio sample to fit the tempo, right click the audio file and click "Apply Project Tempo to Region and Downbeat" and as long as the transients can be detected automatically (e.g. a drum loop, NOT a droning synth pad) it will handle it for you.
