    Format: as Mozee proposed : 48KHz lossless wav, no clipping at a bit depth of 24Bits with dither.

    No Soundcloud, we will use zippyshare.

    Only one track per participant as we are already almost 30.

    You gentlemen can stop what you're doing now, I just finished this definitive, best possible jazz :)

    Took an OK jazz, added more headrooms and analog tube dynamics, richened up the harmonics structure with cardioid Mandelbrot reflux reference track, and finally enwidened stereo imaging with crystalline organic transparencies by izotope cloud RX Meatloaf Signature Edition.
    I believe the results speak for themselves.


    P.S. If my work fails to enthrall, you simply don't understand jazz:chilling:

    Well, We should discuss this together, but IMHO on an album with around 30 tracks, we should contain into a limited timing for each.
    I would say max 4:30

    But I'd like this to be discussed here

    This buisness about //db levels etc etc.....Are detrimental to the potential task at hand...
    Although that wasnt said ...specifically...
    Im a dude in my bedroom...

    And some things ..make even me uncomfotable about showing my work

    Oh yeah, @Olymoon I'll send you my track soon (nao). I was thinking (about the closing date for tracks) that it could be March 8th (or whatev) or until everyone has submitted / dropped out? (I guess there's usually about 50% dropout?)

    I mean the track I did comes in @ almost exactly 5m, kinda planned to :( I guess I wouldn't wanna exclude anyone, rly? Do we even need to set a limit? I mean, w/ digital / cloud / whatev it doesn't rly matter? I guess 10mins is a good round number, maybe a guideline instead of hard fast rule?

    Don't sweat it! Just make sure it is not clipping on the master. Those db are there to make sure people are not destroying transients and other less controlled elements.

    We are all doing it for the fun of it :)

    Totally agree on that. Track time is more a guide than anything else. On the other hand, it's not only about this album concept, if your goal is to get your track listened to, you may consider duration as part of the equation.

    Nothing to study ( if you dont want to) It just mean: "dont saturate the track" because the end leveling for the album will need some space to move levels.
    Concretely this means, keep levels in green always. and even a a bit under.
    if dots were level indicators and | is limit between green and red

    this is very bad
