    heyguyz! :break:

    often, in this period,
in the latest productions deep\indie-disco, I hear a guitar, which reminds me a slap..

For example, there's in this song clearly at 0:24 (breakdown):

    http://soundcloud.com/croatiasquad/me-my-toothbrush-sundown

how do you think I can recreate this?
I hope you can help me

    cheersss

? I'm guessing english isn't your first language but I'm lost. Since slapping in all honesty can only be done at a certain string gauge and lower and all I hear is a picked guitar with reverb and some slight rotary effect.

As a general rule of thumb, if it's a guitar you are NEVER hearing a slap unless something is playing a 7/8 string guitar and has some mad chops [Tosin Abasi] or it's a ER bass.

That's all effect and it's clearly picked. However besides the effects you hearing the twang which is specific to certain models / setup's of guitars.

Anyway, if you need I say add a limiter to a guitar track and mess with the attack of it to emulate more of a slapped noise I guess.

If that's not what your asking some more details would be needed about exactly what you think your hearing.

Sounds like a telecaster with some reverb and delay. I would sample a real guitar.

Could def be a telecaster, or a rickenbacker or a gibson 335 or any guitar that has a natural "twang" to it. But In all honest it sounds like a hollow body electric with short delay/reverb/rotary/chorus and a flanger. Some of those effects are rather suttle and weak some are stronger. For the amp used it sounds like a mid60-70's fender combo tweed amp. I'm usually really good with this type of thing but with production tricks and everything you never really know anymore.

Or you could recreate it in Live with Corpus, a bit of eq and the built-in amp, delay and reverb.
