The list seems to be quite limited and out of date. Does not include emulations I use, eg JP6K, SQ8L, JX8P, Viper etc. Even recently released emulations by Korg and Roland are not on the list.

    @Psychoacoustic
    The site is in German.
It does have over 1000 entries.
If you zoom out, the font size will be smaller and more readable.

How does 'Disagree' fit into all of this?
The only other possibility is that you don't get it, re. No Avenger saying he's pretty sure you'll get it. lol.
    Yes, I am pedantic.

I disagree that it is a "great website" for the aforementioned reasons (incompleteness, out of date).

I was hoping to discover synths I hadn't heard of before, instead the site refers to the usual synths people know about already, along with sampled based collections which I don't consider to be equivalent at all.

Argh! The thread title! I forgot about that. You win!
I'm not as pedantic as I thought, which I suppose is nice.
You are correct it isn't up to date. Even though they say it is updated regularly!
They also ask that people contact them if there are mistakes, so...:winker:

:hahaha: :suicide: Below the line 'Plugin Hardware-Emulationen Charttabelle (Online)' you, well at least I, can see the date. ATM it reads '4. APRIL 2020'. This means YESTERDAY!!!

I never said it's the best, nor it's complete. If you had this expectations, it's your problem, not mine. If you know of a better site feel free to tell us.

Yep, I've already done this. Mistakes were corrected, list edited and expanded.

Search engine is not really handy imo. Wish it would stop with the auto search. I just want to type in what I need and then click on search.

Perhaps it would be nice to have a possiblity to click on the hardware file and see the history of older entries. In that way, old entries are not removed but stored. It would mean that you get a whole lot of options of for example minimoog.

But for the rest it is such a nice source for people like me who - without having money - try to give an analog character to the sound with the mere use of plugins. Who is responsible for updating this list?

Yes, if you for instance search for Type: EQ, this takes a while, but this also depends on your internet connection (VPN).
On Windows just use Ctrl + F if you're looking for a specific type.
You can also sort by the different columns. For instance click on Hardware, after sorting is done search for Minimoog.

That's how I found out that Acustica Audio made impulse responses from the Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor, but not from the LA 2A, 1176 or dbx 160, which I found very surprising.

Sometimes developers are not allowed to use the name of, nor refer to, the original hardware they emulated which makes it hard to find out. This site now is even more important because the only similar site that existed is no longer available http://ww1.audio-hardware-emus.com/

If I'm right AA doesn't do this at all, at least officially.
