Download this tool:

and then extract the attached file (MSDN.zip) somewhere on your disk (e.g. C:\ProgramData).
Open MSDNtoUSB and click on "Locate MSDN" button and point to:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\HelpLibrary2\Catalogs\VisualStudio2026
After It detects the location of empty MSDN, click on "Launch Help Viewer" button. Now you can see Help Viewer tool opens. You can go to Manage Content tab and select any help you want to be installed by hitting the Update button on the right bottom corner.

This tool installs only the latest versions of help files and previous ones are not downloaded and installed. In previous versions there are some other useful guides. If you're interested I'll tell you how to download the full list.
