your song though is like very horror film soundtrack, i can see it working in a bunch of shit (its my favorite genre of film) especially the first half, mainly like psychological horror films. it has that same ominous energy thats in all of them, and the dissonant "wrong" notes work to its advantage with that sort of feeling

it really reminds of this movie Possession (1981), it fits it perfectly. i even listened to your song with the trailer on mute and works perfectly with it, thought that was really interesting

Uptil now i just thought like i always do, it is just a mess of a track without no meaning but now that you´ve said it i can see what you mean, i played the first part behind the trailer and it fits kinda, no to be cocky, but i see what you mean, it is more energetic/stressed that the original trailer track. I mean, the notes are actually wrong so who would guessed it works like this..

but youve probably seen or heard of the leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy. they didnt mean to have it look like that when they designed it; but those construction mistakes are what led to it being more interesting. sometimes shits like that

Yeah, i do like when it´s originaly crapy tho, one sound and heavy processing, keeping the ear busy, that´s a good idea when you cant play keyz at all lol

@reticular : i guess there is. ive never seen or heard of that till now and ive been to Manhattan soo many times, would be hard to even see 8 cm - dude falling 27 floors to his death during its construction is crazy though, i know he was wishing Spiderman would swing through that bitch lol. im terrified of heights, id probably die from a heart attack before i hit the pavement

 

LOL my city is FULL of those because the buildings were too close to the beach, built in sand without the proper structure.
319 leaned buildings and counting. See below a picture

 

It leans to the left ( northerly with the perspective of perpetually viewing the majestic East River, the iconic bridges and Brooklyn on the opposite bank) because it was built by right handed construction workers. That is my observation based on five decades of research.

Okey dokey Round #2 of The Friendly (Non) Contest leans more than 8cm to the left and topples to the ground..... It's officially collapsed and is therefore closed for further entries and public safety (of course the thread is still open for architectural design & construction anomalies or any other conversation )

@Lad Impala : man fuck the buildings lol, youre missing the analogy - its about as creators, sometimes what we can see as wrong or a mistake, was actually just right for the piece. the flaws and imperfections we see in something can be exactly what gives it its unique character, and helps others connect with it, without it the impact probably wouldnt be the same

In this case leaning hasn't made the building in NYC more interesting, just abandoned and a money hole for the developer. Maybe it isn't the leaning that makes the Tower of Pisa interesting (since it's early construction they have tried and tried to correct the "intersting" lean but it only worsened, and only this last century architects were finally able to stabilize it so it won't probably worsen for the next 200 years) but rather it's cylindrical shape as it stands out against all the other buildings which are rectangular. When I first drove into L.A. from NYC on my cross-country relocation maneuver, the Capitol Record building was what helped me realize that I had finally landed and was jazzed at it's iconic silhouette. In art as in life there are happy mistakes which can lend a special quality to a piece...but I don't think it is necessarily a rule. In the case of leaning buildings it can be downright dangerous, in arts such as music, painting and pottery, less so.
