Yeah. This is one of the reason. I want bring back for a while 90s before I die.
Times when I was truly happy. Everything was an exciting adventure. Real music was popular. So many different genres, many songs which are immortal hits. Everything was different and better. I want to die in 90s.

 

Poland was delayed 2 - 6 years compared to the USA or UK.
I was seen PlayStation for the first time in 2002. And was similar with everything other. So my 90s are extended.

 

One of the reasons why I'm into music production is that I can use equipment (original hardware, clones or virtual emulations) which my favourite artists was using in 90s and like Alice in Wonderland moves to those times and feel little like them.

Look for music magazines (both general music and music production). I'm sure some people on ebay are selling their old NME collections.

 

I have some old magazines on PC about Techno, Rave Culture and Music Production but only in Polish language.
Kaktus Magazines, Plastik Magazines and Estrada i Studio Magazines 2000 - 2005.

One of my favourite albums and covers ever, 1987 though, still very relevant, I think. It's got the Moon, sea, moonlight, beautiful woman, charismatic man on it, and it's black. What else do you need

 

1990, DM "Violator". Also one of the most charismatic covers I've ever seen, not to mention that the album is fantastic, all the way from production to the songs. Still one of my reference albums for electro music production:
