Kewl. True, shit was never the same after this box hit the street running. Those folk in charge of naming their product also did a good job. Just imagine for a moment if it was called the 202, 101 or 828 or something, it wouldn't have had the same,...je ne sais quoi, sensual sensational impact. 808 is one hell of a number. The 909 is greater in numerical quantity but it doesn't hold a candle to the aura of that 808. I had a 707 but it was no 808.
