Bis jetzt habe ich immer nur akustischen oder Synth Bass benutzt .

Daher meine Frage senkt man bei einer 808 die Höhen ab oder nicht.

Welche Oktaven werden meistens verwendet
0,1,2- oder 1,2,3

Damit meine ich natürlich die tiefsten

 

there is no general octave used, but basically its the lower octaves. sub bass territory 40Hz - 300hz or so.

Some harmonics added with saturation can help fill out the sound and make it more thick and cut through laptop / phone speakers. You can saturate heavily and then roll off / cut the highs using an eq after the saturation.
