64bit plugin double the CPU use!!!

    Hey guys cockos reaper show that tone2 gladiator suck twice the cpu if is loaded x86 and not at 64bit !!!!!!

    if you load the x86 version of the gladiator use 40% of the cpu.

    if you load 64bit version of the same gladiator use 20 % of the cpu.

    It could be the fact that you using all the cpu to full capacity in x64

    I think that you will find that is the case most of the time with properly coded apps. :wink:

    haha well tone2 Glad takes up a good chunk of cpu anyway. like they said duh with the x64! If you wanna get rid of latency and reduce cpu, get a DSP accelerator or audio interface!!!
