Hoping to get some of your opinions on the new tracks. I'm trying to "define" my style further so some of the concepts of the new stuff may be odd but it's pretty banging.

Defiantly some heaviness. Anyway, PLEASE!@ give the first 4 songs a listen and tell me what you think!

    Thank you!

Tear down the skies and illuminate are my favorites, but the rest is good really, this two stand out, instant hits

Mostly everything depends on lyrics and vocalist, but on first glance this is really good stuff, have great potential *yes*

You have one more fan :mates:

Some good stuff for sure.. and as someone else said elsewhere its fun to see that all aint just doing trance, dance etc but actually doing something on the path to rock, metal and such.. alot of cred for that..

The songs themselves are all in my opinion pretty nice.. Just wondering if the sythline is pre vocal melodies and a suggestion from you on how the vocals should go? If not.. Drop em :D Hate the sound but the melodies are are rather nice..

May have some suggestion for you on both bass and vocals depending on how awesome you want em..

    Cheers

    Thanks guys.

For the vocals I "Ideally" would like a mix between Chester Bennington [linkin park] and Daniel Murillo [hollywood undead] with a pinch of Perry Ferel [Janes addiction] and Chad Gray [Mudvayne]. So basically singing with lil scream singing when needed. Unfortunately it's a tall order to find a Singer who can actually sing anymore. But my determination is getting greater and greater. Not to mention I've only been activly looking for a singer for only about 3 weeks again and I haven't even started putting out hard media like fliers and etc yet so.

At the moment I'm trying to snag a "pro" drummer who's dating an old friend of mine but if that doesn't pull through I have 2 drummers waiting to try out so It's coming along. At this point I'm just trying to get all the unfinished material at least to a full song demo point and updating all the old files with newer mix/master templates. Turns out it's really hard to do proper sound design without actual vocals.

Hebrew in the Rain - .. I'm not sure how to take the grunge pop thing. Don't get me wrong I listened to a lot of grunge when I was younger but I never really saw it like that. Is it because it's not "straight foward" metal or not enough like nu-skool metal? I dunno. I'd almost like to think a futuristic Gun's and Roses minus the slash solo's in some tracks but. As for the pop part... Yeah. I'd say it's a gimick but it's just how I like things. I figure that I should be able to write my ideal music and have more than just a small demographic like it. So I tuned in on some idea's of my favorite parts of the music I like. Since I'm not really a screaming fan and love melody more pop style vocals just seem to be what my brain tells me. I'm trying to compensate with heaviness and trying to at least make parts "epic" when I can. That and I try to write music that could be put into any action scene in any movie and work out.

Vaijj - Yeah those are vocal melodies. Some are more set in stone than others but for the most part It's like a demo song just with a synth for vocals because I smoke and I can't sing well enough to even attempt. It would just be funny... Not to mention from what I've notice is people don't pay attention to instrumental music unless they planning on doing something on it and in the end I don't want singers trying out thinking that it's all up in the air when the songs are all pretty well planned out besides minor alterations with the real vocals and production. So I've thought about taking the vocal melodies out but the instrumentals alone no matter how good the song is sounds so boring and no one wants to hear it. So I figure leaving them on there you at least get an idea what the entire song would sound like with vocals.
