Please tell me what Jazz has to do with this, are you click-baiting again?. I will ask that you change the title yourself in a timely matter, otherwise i will have too.

P.s Also please dont use this forum to dispel hate for a genre. It wont work here sorry.

Great tune thou, gym warm up music

I like this weasel würm blubber on speed track.
Unfortunately, the title is really stupid, I mean "Anti-Jazz"?!? :wtf:

How about "Weasel Würm Blubber on Speed"? :grooves:

...or "VFRBGTNHY" (would also characterize the piece well) ??? :invision::invision::invision:

Foster have you considered writing music for games and phone apps?
GENUINELY. That's pretty creative. Imagine what you could come up with if you wrote about something you did really like?

The problem in the music industry whatever that means in the 21st century, is a lot of people do not realise how many different opportunities and avenues are actually available for them to pursue to make a living, career, and/or money.

This is almost ironic and not necessarily in the best possible way, all things considered.Pretty close to true in too many ways. It says more about Foster heading in the right direction than what people are buying and listening to in bulk. The foster aspect is fine, what is on the airwaves around the world, is less flattering haha!

    @Foster
Title of your thread is provocative and funny , but please consider this :
Within what is called "Jazz" , you can find so many styles !
Just hear recordings from beginnings of jazz (let's say approx beginning of last century) and Some "Weather Report" music for ex ...
    So different universe ...

It is like saying "anti Classical music" .So many aspects of Classical music .
Even pop music , Rock , or whatever .

Also don't forget that sometimes those styles mixes and work together .
Borders are not necessarly between styles and genre , but a matter of quality .

    How would you qualify ...
    Sting for example .
From Police to solo carrier .

You can not put music and artists in boxes , it just does not work that way , just saying ...

Correct me if I'm wrong but... I feel like Americans tend to stick to the old ways and sound, when it comes to jazz... Even the neofusion folks sound boring to me, for the most part. If so, why is that?

There's a lot of people taking jazz to a new direction, here in Europe. Are we fed up with the boring, purely technical, non musical jazz?

I like this music (examples), but I would not necessarily call it jazz, at least not in the traditional sense.
This leads me to the question: What turns music into jazz music?

    traditional sense LOL

that's exactly my point, why do people (especially Americans) stick to the old ways and sound?

I can't put it into words.. When I hear it, I know.

Yes, probably, as Duke Ellington said: "It's all music."
